CARRIE KATHERINE UMPHREY (nee OAKLEY) 1928 - 2004 October 15, 2004 Mrs. Carrie Katherine Umphrey, passed peacefully on Friday, October 15, 2004 at her home at the age of 76 years. Carrie was predeceased by her loving husband Lorne Edgar Umphrey, brother and parents. She will be lovingly remembered by her six children, Lorne, Everett, Carrie, Lorena, Leo, Gawain; Greg and Tony Pallone; and daughter-in-law Rose Pallone-Umphrey; and two grandchildren, James and Dean. Also numerous nieces, nephews and cousins across Canada and United States, United Kingdom. Special thanks to Winnipeg Emergency Services for their caring and respect. Services and prayers will occur at a later date. A dry wake will be held Saturday, October 23 at 14 Purdue Bay between 12:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. for family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation.
